Practicas

People want not just to learn, but to have the opportunity to practice and to dance. As members of the club start to get withdrawal symptoms when the classes finish at the end of each term, we have organised, and will continue to organise, a series of practicas during the holidays. These are evenings at which there is no formal tuition, instead one just dances. However, Jan and Laurie are present for the whole evening and are available to offer tips if they are asked for, or if they appear to be needed. If there is a shared problem, there may even be some more organised teaching - it depends what members want. Practicas are also held during holidays (when there are no classes) the practicas substitute for the classes and are therefore held on Wednesdays. The location this time is The Guildhall, Gloucester as normal, all these practicas start at 7:30pm and continue until 10:30pm.
