Tango In Gloucester

Aisha y Victor

Aisha and Victor come from Argentina. Although they used to have other jobs (Aisha as an interpreter, Victor as an architect) they are now full-time Tango teachers, spending 6 months of the year in Buenos Airies and 6 months travelling the world. This year they will be touring Europe from May onwards, including a month in the UK.

As part of their trip they will be running two master classes in the main hall, The Guildhall, Eastgate Street, Gloucester on Monday 12th July 2010.

Class 1 (Tango) will run from 19.00 to 20.30. After a break for refreshments (the café/bar is adjacent to the hall).

Class 2 (Tango Vals) will run from 21.00 to 22.30.

The cost will be £10 for each class, which may be booked separately.

To enrol contact Artshape direct on 01452 307684.

Workshop and Practica - Thursday 15th July 2010, Ross Tango will be holding a workshop and practica with Aisha and Victor. We would strongly recommend that anyone who has been at the classes in Gloucester should go to this workshop and practica. It would be a good way to practise and reinforce what you will have learned at the classes.

Where: Bishopswood Village Hall, Kerne Bridge, near Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, HR9 5QT - Thursday 15th July 2009 Time 19.00

For tickets ring Neil and Caroline on 01989 566 372 or email rass.ross@btinternet.com.

Victor is ideally suited to teaching Tango. He actually comes from Villa Urquiza and dances in that style (long feline steps for example). Aisha, with her good knowledge of English is excellently placed to convey their knowledge to local dancers. They are also good teachers, and very nice people.
