Tango in Gloucester

Tango Gloucester is a group of tango enthusiasts who meet each week to learn the wonderful art of Tango Argentino.

The club is run by Laurie Moseley and Jan Cone and we hold classes every Wednesday evening in The Theatre at the Guildhall, Gloucester.

Laurie and Jan have been dancing Tango for over 12 years, and teaching it for 10 years. They can also put you in touch with other groups, Milongas, Practicas, special Tango festivals, etc., and advise on specialist sources of music.

We have a sister club in Cheltenham, run by Janet Earl and Adrian Barsby and we have a particularly good relationship with the tango group in Ross-On-Wye and Swansea

Links to both these clubs and several others can be found on our club link page. Many of us regularly attend classes and workshops in Cheltenham, Bristol and Cardiff.

We also run occasional Practicas (just dancing) during the holiday periods.There are several other clubs within an hour's drive of Gloucester and many more throughout the UK. Most of these clubs hold classes, which we sometimes attend and regular Milongas where we go to meet and dance with other tango enthusiasts.
